INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION AND TENDER

1.0 INTRODUCTION
The management of Nigeria Institute of Management hereby invites reputable and competent construction companies to submit Technical and Financial Bids for the Renovation Works of their Offices in Abuja and Lagos respectively.
A. LOT 1: Renovation of NIM Building Lagos

B. LOT 2: Renovation of Management Centre Abuja

2.0 GENERAL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
i. Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and Memorandum and Article of Association.
ii. Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three years (2014, 2015 & 2016).
iii. Certified company Audited Account for the last three years (2014, 2015 & 2016)
iv. Evidence of financial capability and Bank Support.
v. Company profile and CV of key professionals to be deployed for the work.
vi. List of verifiable plants and equipment indicating ownership or on lease.
vii. Current Compliance Certificate issued by PENCOM.
viii. Current Compliance Certificate with Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Act 2011.
ix. Current Interim Registration Report (IRR) with Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP).
x. Current Compliance Certificate with National Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF).
xi. A sworn affidavit that no officer of the Institute is a former or present Director, Shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the bidder.
xii. A sworn affidavit confirming that none of the Directors of the company has been convicted in any court of any criminal offence.
xiii. A sworn affidavit confirming that all information presented and attached in the bid are true and correct in all particulars.
xiv. Evidence of similar projects carried out in the last three years including Award letters, Interim Valuation certificate and practical completion certificates minimum of five (5).
xv. Letter of application.

3.0 COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
All interested Bidders should collect Bid Document from the Office of the Registrar/Chief Executive, Nigerian Institute of Management office in Abuja and Lagos upon presentation of non-refundable Tender fee of N100,000.00 (One Hundred Thousand Naira) only for Lot 1 and 25,000.00 (Twenty-Five Thousand Naira) only for Lot 2 by Bank Draft in favour of Nigerian Institute of Management.

4.0 SUBMISSION OF TECHNICAL AND FINANCIAL BIDS 
Completed Technical and Financial Bids document should be enveloped and sealed in separate envelopes and clearly marked at the top corner, “TECHNICAL BID” for the Renovation of NIM Building Lagos” and “FINANCIAL BID” for the Renovation of NIM Building Lagos and both packaged in a bigger envelope labeled TECHNICAL and FINANCIAL BID for the Renovation of NIM Building Lagos with the name and contact details of the company clearly written at the back, and addressed to the Registrar/Chief Executive, Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) Lagos, and should be submitted in the same office.

5.0 CLOSING DATE, VENUE AND TIME OF BID OPENING
The closing date for the submission of bids documents is Thursday 30th November, 2017 by 12:00 noon. The bids shall be opened at 2:00pm at the Conference Room of the Institute in Lagos and Abuja for LOT 1 and LOT 2 respectively.6.0 PLEASE

NOTE:
(1) The participation in the bid does not guarantee any Company the right to be selected or given any job.
(2) That by submission of tender documents, the Institute is neither committed nor obliged to award any contract to any contractor.
(3) That this advertisement for invitation to pre-qualification and tender shall not be misconstrued as a commitment on the part of the Institute nor shall it entitle any Contractor/Firm to make any claims whatsoever and/or seek any indemnity from the Institute.
(4) The Institute reserves the right to reject any or all expression of interest and to terminate the selection process at any time without any liability to the Institute.
(5) Any bid submitted after the closing time and date shall not be considered.
(6) Only pre-qualified Contractors will have their financial bids document opened and analysed.
