INVITATION FOR TENDER FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF VEHICLES

The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) wishes to invite interested, competent and reputable dealers/suppliers for the participation in the procurement process for the supply of the specified vehicles under the following Lots:

DESCRIPTION OF ITEM: SUV 4.6 L V8 (Full option 2018 model)
QUANTITY: 7 Nos.
BID SECURITY: 1% of the Bid Price
DELIVERY PERIOD: Six (6) Weeks from the date of the award

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Interested and reputable suppliers are required to submit the following alongside with the tender documents:
a) Certificate of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
b) Copies of Tax Clearance Certificates for the past three years (2016, 2015 & 2014) expiring 31st December, 2017
c) Company audited statements of account for the past three years duly stamped by a registered auditor (2016, 2015 & 2014)
d) Evidence of compliance with the Pension Reform Act 2004 by inclusion of a valid Pension Clearance Certificate from PENCOM
e) Evidence of compliance with the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Amendment Act 2011 by inclusion of a copy of valid compliance certificate of remittances
f) Evidence of registration in the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP’s) National Database of Federal Contractors, Consultants and Service Providers by inclusion of Interim Registration Report (IRR)
g) Verifiable evidence (award letters, contracts/agreements etc.) of three (3) similar supplies of the same nature during the past five (5) years
h) Comprehensive company profile with the list of all directors
i) Verifiable international passport bio-data page or any other form of identification (such as National driver’s license/National identity card/Permanent voter’s card) of all directors
j) A current letter of introduction addressed to the Commission from a bank indicating the financial capability of the supplier
k) A sworn statement that the company is not in receivership or about to be in receivership or not a replacement of a hitherto tax defaulting company

COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
The tender documents should be collected at the Procurement Unit of the above address upon payment of a non-refundable tender fee of N10. 000.00 (Ten Thousand Naira) only in favour of Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission through Remita account in any bank of your choice.

SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
Three (3) bound copies (one original and two copies) and a soft copy of the documents should be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked on the top left hand side of the envelope “Tender for the procurement of vehicles”.

A duly signed document should be arranged in the order listed above and paginated before submission. Failure to comply with this requirement will lead to rejection of the submission.

The documents must be dropped into the Tender Box located at the Commission’s Secretariat on the 2nd floor, Room 203 not later than 12:00pm on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 and addressed to the following:

Please note that:
i) The documents will be opened immediately after the close of submission at the Commission’s Hearing Room 119 located on the 1st floor.
