INVITATION TO TENDER FOR GOODS AND WORKS

 

INTRODUCTION

The National Pension Commission (PenCom) in furtherance of its mandate is desirous of implementing some of its projects under the 2017 fiscal year.

 

In compliance with the Public Procurement Act, 2007, the Commission is inviting interested, reputable and competent companies with proven track record to Tender for the supply of the following Goods and Works.

 

LOT NO: 1

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE: Construction of Perimeter fence in Gombe

 

LOT NO: 2

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE: Construction of Perimeter fence in Akwa

 

LOT NO: 3

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE: Supply of all One Desktop Computers

 

LOT NO: 4

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE: Supply of Stationery Items

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

Prospective Bidders must possess the under-listed requirement without which a bidder shall disqualified from further participation in the tender process

  1. Certificate of incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
  2. Compliance Certificate issued by the National Pension Commission expiring (Dec. 2017)
  3. Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three years (2014, 2015 & 2016) expiring (Dec. 2017)
  4. Evidence of registration on the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) National Database of Contractors, Consultants and Service Providers expiring (Dec. 2017)
  5. Industrial Training Fund Certificate expiring (Dec. 2017)
  6. Evidence of Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) Certificate expiring (Dec. 2017)
  7. Evidence of Partnership with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) for Lot No.3
  8. Verifiable list of similar jobs successfully executed in the past-three years including letters of award of contracts, project costs, job completion certificates (please provide contact addresses of the client)
  9. Prospective Bidders for (Lot 1 and 2) should present evidence of presence /existence in the States.

 

  • COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS

The Tender Documents are obtainable from the Procurement Department 3rd Floor of the National Pension Commission, Plot 174, Adetokunbo Ademola Crescent, Wuse II, Abuja for collection of the tender documents.

4.0 SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS

The prospective bidders are to enclose three (3) hard copies and one (1) soft copy of the Technical and Financial bids in three (3) separate envelopes, and enclose that three envelopes in one sealed outer envelope and clearly marked with the “Lot Number and Name” on the right hand corner, the name of the company on the reverse side of the envelope and addressed to:

Please note that the financial bid should not be included in the soft copy

 

5.0 CLOSING & OPENING OF BIDS

All Bids should be deposited in the Bid Box at the Mail Office of the Commission on the ground floor at Plot 174, Adetokunbo Ademola Crescent, Wuse 2, Abuja between the working hours of 8am to 5pm on or before the submission deadline of 12 noon Tuesday, 9th January, 2018. The Bids will be opened immediately after the deadline at the Commission’s meeting room in the presence of the bidders or their representatives and any interested member of the public.

7.0 DISCLAIMER

  • Only shortlisted Bidders will be invited for further consideration.
  • Any bid submitted in the wrong place shall be disqualified.
  • Late submissions shall be rejected.
  • This advertisement shall not be construed as a commitment on the part of PenCom to appoint any Contractor; nor shall it entitle any Contractor submitting documents to claim any indemnity from PenCom.
  • PenCom reserves the right to take a decision on any of the documents received.
  • Any form of canvassing from any source whatsoever shall result in immediate disqualification.
  • The Commission is not bound to shortlist any vendor and reserves the right to annul the bid process at any time without incurring liabilities and assigning any reason thereof.
  • The Commission reserves the right to verify the authenticity of any claims on the documents.
  • The Commission may, as its discretion and without explanation to the prospective bidder at any time, choose to discontinue this invitation to tender without obligation to such prospective bidders.
  • The Commission will only correspond with authorized officers of the successful company/vendor and not agents or persons acting on its behalf.
