INVITATION TO TENDER (ITT): FINANCIAL ADVISORY SERVICES
Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) Plc is the third largest distribution company in Nigeria, providing access to electricity to 3.3 million households (representing a population of circa 14.5 million people) across the FCT, Kogi, Niger and Nasarawa states.
AEDC Pic is inviting proposals from corporate firms to provide financial advisory services to support its planned capital raise programme by means of a corporate bond issue of up to US$150million in local currency. GuarantCo (www.guarantco.com) is supporting this opportunity through providing funds from the Technical Assistance Facility (TAF) of the Private Infrastructure Development Group (www.pidg.org).
The successful tenderer will be contracted to:
i. Complete a high-level review of AEDC Plc plans to expand access and improve affordability for its customers.
ii. Help identify appropriate financing structures to enable a bond issue.
iii. Coordinate transaction parties to the bond issue.
iv. Assist with the structuring and execution of the bond issue.
v. Assist with the marketing and closing of the bond issue.
